I am Ida the writer and the dark mind behind WriteOffs blog. A reader since childhood I cannot conceive of any other topic better suited for a blog. To avoid another book reviews blog I try to turn my bizzareness, connected to strange books and in life in general, into some kind of comprehensive texts. I love languages, the arts, music, both good and bad, and all other areas you can’t seem to make a living from. I speak four languages and deep down believe I have a slightly modified different personality in each of the four. I am from the Balkans, unhappy when I am there, unhappy when I am away. I read extensively, everything that comes to me, detergent labels, promotional posters, books, leaflets, magazines, online offline in any shape, form and of any origin. I love words and people, I hate words and people. I am constantly afraid of sounding too pretentious however I am constantly afraid of sounding too basic. And I just try to live and write with love what might turn out to be interesting for you to read.
